Hi, I’m Melanie. I’m a proud mom of two amazing boys, ages 18 and 16, and my journey as a single parent has made me fiercely resilient and deeply compassionate. My younger son is autistic, and he inspires me every day to advocate for inclusivity, creativity, and the belief that every learner deserves to shine in their own way. Our home is delightfully full of life, thanks to two cats, three lizards, a frog, a tortoise, and three ferrets who keep things interesting. When I’m not teaching or wrangling our tiny zoo, you can find me exploring new technologies for the classroom, plotting fun science adventures, or enjoying quiet moments with a good book. Above all, I’m fueled by curiosity, connection, and helping kids discover the magic in learning.
